You Can Be That Person Who Makes A Difference

A client’s mom came to the Center with items no longer needed by her grandchild.  She shared how thankful the family was, including her daughter, Katie.  Katie had been to an abortion clinic two times but couldn’t go through with the abortion.  She was afraid to talk with parents, church people or friends.

When she came to PRC, we talked through all her options and about the Lord’s love for her and her baby.  She had an ultrasound and decided to carry to term.  She told her parents, church and friends.  Her family had to adjust to the idea...then they came around.  Katie found a good job and is adjusting to being a single mom, and allowing people at church to help her along the way.  She now has her own apartment.  We are thankful how steps of faith over time can turn a tough situation into smiles of joy.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at PRC.  All help is greatly appreciated.
