A Pro-Life Ministry
PRC believes in the Sanctity of Human Life. By helping unprepared pregnant women meet their emotional, physical, informational, and spiritual needs, PRC enables them to choose life. Of the women who come to PRC and are pregnant, approximately 90% choose life!
A Non-Political Organization
PRC does not endorse or support any political cause. Steps for Life is not a social statement or pro-life rally; it is simply a fun, family-centered fundraiser benefiting PRC; and ultimately those women, men and babies we serve.
A Local Solution
PRC is governed by a local board and operates six centers in the Portland area. Together, these centers serve nearly 9,000 new clients each year. Since 1984, PRC has ministered to more than 140,000 women and teens. All of PRC's services are provided free of charge.

Our paid staff of approximately 30 men and women are supported by an army of almost 250 volunteers -- it is no secret that without their gift of time and service, the ministry of PRC in Porltand would cease to thrive.
